matters.

you know, i never know wad to type until the first line marvellously appears. then again at this point of time i dont know how to continue with so many words forming in my mind at once. complexity.

as the days passed i discovered it's the bits and pieces that matter.

the sch week started with two tests consecutively on tues morning. the state of ridicule upon acknowledging my self-delusion remains vividly etched in my mind. basically got my timetable mixed up and ended up wrecking my nerves for 2h straight. not in the mood to go into details. haha wed, badminton. am proud of the determined pair that lou and i make but a bit sore abt the last game. still, the games brought back fond memories. (: oh and chem taught us an amazing fact of the day. vinegar is processed from crude oil. okay reading that statement doesnt seem very impactful but i'll leave it to your imagination lahh. haha how i love the homologous series of O.C.

the last day of the sch week begun at 3am and ended at 10pm for me. to sum it up, the four days were filled with much rain and sunshine, laughter and ditziness, singing of songs and losing of fluid. :D lunch and recess breaks with columnmates were enjoyable. i think i had popiah three out of four days. ooh extra chilli pls! cant decide if the week went past qte fast or actually lasted qte long.

sat morning was the 1st time in a while i didnt want to get out of bed. mmm. met swei to go for meeting. arrived late. highlight of the day was yakun at j8. nice catching-up session with swei (it's been 2 weeks...) until we were asked to vacant our seats. time spent in the afternoon was not worth mentioning. at night aft a kfc meal high, dad brought us for a spin in the car. sight-seeing in the dark. (as dos called it.) haha we drove past rows of private houses, down small, dimly-lit roads. truthfully it was aimless driving. dad went, 'let's see where this road leads.' so we saw a signboard that says punggol end - world war 2 site. sth like that and i swear i didnt make up the worldwar2 site part. siblings and i exclaimed in unison. qte a thrill for us. haha so up the road we went, following the turns, with only a couple of cars ahead. i rmb there was a bus stop along the way but it seemed really out of place, like brightly-lit, surrounded with trees and bushes with not a single soul in sight. honestly i relished letting my imagination run wild, aft all there were five of us in the car, no cause for worry yes? haha just silently prayed that things that shd not be seen would remain unseen. along the way mum was like, 'quick quick, let's turn back lahh. this road so ulu one, dont drive here leh. quick turn back.' dad replied, 'cannot make illegal U-turn.' mum persisted much to our amusement, 'haiyah there's no one here turn back lahh quick. it's so eerie. let's go somewhere like night safari or mustafa shopping centre.' okay lor. (: then there was thunder and lightning. home beckoned.

sun is up now. ate a lot a couple of hours ago. mum just declared the start of fried food week. delightful.

alright the following paragraph is not much of a necessity but as usual randomness is inevitable. i'd like to think some things were the way i wish they'd be. the truth apparently lurks and i guess i chose to leave the question marks because i know that the day they're erased would make it final. much as i thought it's less affecting now but eventually seems like it has taken a new form. i'd really like to think some thing were the way i wished they'd be. brings hope. it's the small things lahh. insignificant during the moment but the aftereffects prove to be overwhelming. it's vaguely painful to confront the grey patches. not like a violent ouch and wince, rather more of a draw a sharp breath and grit your teeth/bite your lip know?

with the recent DSA issues, am reminded of the prospect of closing the sn chapter in my life in the near future. scares the hell out of me. mmm, not to forget, it's really nice to bump into someone you lost touch with for a while. esp when you still acknowledge each other. coincidental meetings; one of the simple joys in life. (: haha !
